A home that feels like yours, done right from first sketch to final install.

The real product is peace of mind.

Hello.

Hi, I’m Alexia, a French-American interior designer based in Haarlem. I’ve redesigned 40+ homes across Haarlem, Amsterdam and Noord-Holland, from full renovations to single-room makeovers, many of them for expats making a Dutch house feel like home. My goal is to help you discover your style, bring it to life, and actually enjoy the process.

I focus on making interior design fun, approachable, straightforward, and refreshingly transparent. Each result is distinct, full of personality, and completely customized to you. Because it’s all about you—your space, your home.

Interior Designer & Renovation Project Manager

You make the decisions.
I handle the details.

Because the real product isn’t a mood board or a furniture list. It’s peace of mind — knowing that while everything is happening behind the scenes, you’re not the one dealing with it.

From developing the design and sourcing the right pieces to coordinating suppliers, managing orders and overseeing the details, I take care of the moving parts that turn a design into a finished home.

What Customers Are Saying

Jen

"Alexia helped me renovate the 2 attic bedrooms in my apartment in the center of Amsterdam (monument house) last summer and I couldn't dream of better results. She understood very clearly my needs, style and preferences, provided simulations, she also found contractors, ordered furnitures and decorations. I fully relied on her and the results is beyond my expectations. Last but not least, she is a lovely enthusiastic person! I highly recommend her for your next project!"

"My family and I worked with Alexia Home Designs while planning our international move from the US to the Netherlands. What seemed as if an impossible task to get our home ready for us from afar, was made much easier and stress free because Alexia was communicative, helpful, thoughtful and most of all, a great Interior Designer. My husband, myself and our 7 year old daughter were ecstatic and giddy with happiness when we saw the home that Alexia designed for us. From the small to the large tasks, she conquered them all. We cannot thank her enough. Fantastic person and amazing service."

"Alexia has been designing entirely my bedroom in Amsterdam. The small size of the bedroom made it complex to organize a sufficient space for storage. Her role was to find the best layout to optimize storage space. Alexia is very professional and will listen to you to get a result that match your colors, personality and budget. She has been organizing and leading every step from plastered, to final decoration. Im really happy with my new room it fits perfectly my need and my personality. I strongly recommend to work with Alexia!"

"Alexia recently redesigned our apartment (kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and office) and we are incredibly happy with the work that she did. During the brain storming and ideas phase, she really took in account how we used the space, what we liked/didn't like about the current look and come up with creative ideas to solve our problems. If there was something that we wanted changed, she was extremely receptive and would come up with a new idea in no time. She was very detailed, and sent us great documents on what the space would look like, what materials, paints, products, she used and where she got them from - which will be great as I sure we will need these details in the future."
